International Conference on Geotechnical and Highway Engineering GEOTROPIKA 2008  will be held on 26-27 May 2008 at Best Western Premier Sri Pacific Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  The Conference will be organized by Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and supported by Institute of Quarrying Malaysia, Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM) and Public Works Department, Malaysia.

Conference Objective:

Geotechnical and Highway engineers are always faced with problems related to the performance prediction of constructions as well as the diagnostic of past failures.  Therefore the conference will be held with the following objectives:

• To provide avenue to network and exchange ideas with stakeholders from industry.
