About The Conference
Introduction
The inaugural International Conference on Security Technologies carrying the theme
Enhancing Homeland Security Through Engineering, Science and Technology Practices
focuses on novel and innovative engineering, science and technology addressing pressing national and international security problems. The Conference will bring together over 200 innovators, researchers, practitioners and users from leading universities, research laboratories, security related government and private agencies, small businesses, system integrators and the end user community to discuss emerging technologies in priority areas of interest to federal and state governments, and fosters technology commercialization by providing a forum for networking with government and business leaders.
Events throughout the world and incidents closer to home have underscored the unrelenting need to enhance preparedness, expand prevention efforts, and improve response capabilities to undesirable elements against our nation.
